Art & Poetry Expressions Evening

Join us for an evening of art-inspired poetry at the Emerging Ekphrastic Expressions and Passing of the Laurel event to celebrate National Poetry Month. Ekphrastic poetry is poetry inspired by art. In this free event, 10 emerging artists' work inspired 10 emerging poets. Come and see the art and hear the poetry inspired by the art as we celebrate National Poetry Month and honor outgoing Poet Laureate, Marie Marchand and welcome the City of Ellensburg's 2026-2028 Poet Laureate, Sarita Dasgupta.
